Additional Information: March 15, 2007: For those of you who are coming to Atlanta for our two day pre-Grand National driving tour, we have something special lined up for you. On Tuesday morning, as we begin our trip to Savannah through the Georgia countryside, we will stop at the Truitt Cathy Ranch for a private tour of Mr. Cathy's extensive automobile collection. This will be a rare opportunity to see some very fine classic cars, while meeting a very classic and rare individual: Mr. Truitt Cathy, who is the sole proprietor of the Chick-fil-A restaurant chain. Mr. Cathy and his wife started with just one small restaurant near the site of the current Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport, and over the past 60 years has built an empire of over 1,300 restaurants in 37 states grossing over $2.2 billion in annual sales. But he is still a very honorable and humble man who claims, "I didn't invent the chicken, just the chicken sandwich." If you've ever had a Chick-fil-A sandwich, then you owe it to yourself to come and meet the man in person who started it all ........ if you've never had a Chick-fil-A sandwich, then you owe it to yourself to find a Chick-fil-A restaurant near you to see what you've been missing all these years, then join us for our pre-Grand National tour to Savannah ........... you will have a time to remember.

March 1, 2007: The original block of 700 room nights (expanded to just over 1,000 room nights as interest in our event increased) at the host hotel has been sold out, and reservations are no longer being accepted. We have arranged for a very fine alternate hotel located less than one block from our host hotel. Our alternate hotel, The Mulberry Inn, is a beautiful hotel with 165 rooms and a full compliment of luxurious amenities, located in a very historic structure which dates back to the 1860's. The Mulberry Inn, with regular rates of well above $200 per night, has agreed to honor our special event rate of $125.00 for one or two guests, including free parking for one vehicle. This special rate will also be available for up to four nights before and/or after the Grand National event dates, so please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for a great rate at a very special hotel if your travel time allows for an extended visit to Savannah this summer.

For questions regarding either our host hotel or our alternate hotel, please e-mail the registrar for the 2007 Grand National, Jack McClow, at jack@mcclow.com, or call the Director of the Peach State Region, Mike Posey, at 1-800-238-0359.
