How To Make A Link Of My Cadillac??
« on: January 10, 2008, 12:04:40 PM »
I have about 20 pictures of my Caddy and I want to make a link so you can see them here in the forum. I'm "challenged" with computers. Can anybody walk me through this?
71 Olds 98 LS, 66 Fairlane 500 XL Convertible, 55 Packard Clipper Super, 58 Edsel Ranger, 72 Cheyenne Super, many 49-60 parts cars, abandoned "House Of Doom" full of 49-60 parts. Huge piles of engine parts, brackets, tin, Hydramatic & Jetaway parts,  thousands of stainless moldings, dozens of perfect sedan doors.

I tried 3 times to put a link in the For Sale forum. I give up.

John,

Help me understand what you have so I can help you with a solution....

Do you have 20 individual photos you want to attach to your post?  Or a page somewhere that has 20 photos on it that you want to share?

Unfortunately, you cannot attach 20 individual photos to your post.  When I clicked on the link in your "for sale" ad, I was asked to login to Windows Live, so that may not be the correct link.  If that is the link to your photo page, then that is not going to help, either, if everyone has to log in to view your photos.

If you have these photos on your PC, you can attach one or two, depending on the size of the photos, to your post  Do this by responding to your post and then clicking the "Browse" button which is just below the area you type your message in.  Select one of the photos from the "File Upload" dialog box that appears, then click the "open" button.  When you do that, that will add some text into the "Attach:" text box to the left of the "Browse"  button.  To add a second photo, click the "(more attachments)" link to the right of the browse button and repeat the process above.  The total size of the two photos cannot exceed 500K bytes or they won't upload.  Once you've done this, click the "Post" button and the photos should be attached to your post.

Sorry this is long-winded.  It is easier to do than it is to type out all of the instructions!

This is fast becoming a nightmare. I went to Googlepages, signed up, attached 20 pictures, clicked finish, only the last picture showed up. Then to boot I can't figure out how to proceed from there even if all 20 showed up. I told you I was challenged with computers.
