Sorry, I realize I am out of line posting this in this area of the Forum as I have nothing to list for sale. But in perusing this Forum I can see that the rules put forth by the CLC aren't really being adhered to very well and it will only hurt the users herein. Two good fixes to the postings; Make sure the subject line states succinctly what you are selling, describe it much like you are telling a friend... 64 Eldo Black over white, etc. Do you need to write "FS" or "For Sale"? Isn't that what this area of the Forum is for? I find a lot of tech items in here that don't belong as well (just like this post, again, sorry). The main CLC directive not followed is to tell us where you are located. Please let us know, and thank you to the patient individuals that reply right away and ask that question, which kindly benefits the seller. There is a great article in the current Hemmings about how to write an ad for your car that will help it sell. Highly recommend it. Again, I apologize for posting improperly while whining about the same thing, but I hope this may help with getting this area focused on it's intent... buying/selling. Thanks for letting me vent.

Makes me feel at home... I was raised with five sisters and now have a wife and two daughters. I'm used to being wrong and getting a little beat up for it! hahahahaha

Yah, what's up with that? Every day there's 4 or 5 wacko posts that make no sense and an equal number of porno shots and links. It seems like all of a sudden we're hit with that stuff.

Not often that a guy complains about porn links but sad to say it's the cost of business these days.  The Modified Chapter got hit hard lately so we had to tighten up our already strict antispam measures.

Just the problem child posting again to make sure my profile is working. Thanks for the understanding and the help. Lou, you're right, I had exited the site and came back without logging-in.

Ok report it to a moderator and if they agree they will remove it.  That's why we have the cute little "Report to moderator" link.

I just checked and the word used above in full, much less short version I used, is not one of the seven dirty words banned by the FCC for prime time TV.  If it's ok for prime time TV then why isn't it ok for here?  I hear it from my wife at least once a day so maybe I'm less sensitive than others.
