Here's a set of very preserved smaller wheel covers from the desert 49. I'm amazed at the condition of the chrome. 3 have a very minor ding, one has none, still very presentable on any but the finest show car. They look far better in person, can't seem to snap good pictures. I think these are 41-53?? These will be sold on Ebay next week in the big wave of 49 auctions.

Hi Paul. I'm trying for better pictures today. I'm supposed to list the wave of auctions in about 2 days. I'll post a note here when it happens. Are these the 41-53 type the Master Parts List shows?

John - I'm pretty certain you're correct in assuming they fit 1941 - 1953. My 1936-1949  Caddy master parts book lists one hubcap ( "chromium" ) for the years 1941-1949.  My 1941 - 1959 Caddy parts book lists one hubcap (" for disc wheels, Chr., w/Medallion" ) for 1941 - 1953 . Other years have separate listings. I don't see where they make a distinction between your smaller 10" ( I believe ) caps and the larger Sombrero hubcaps. So I think you're right,1941 - 1953. Since you posted them in the buy/sell section of the Forum, do you want to sell them without going through the auction ? If so , how much ?  Paul T. ...tess352@yahoo.com .... CLC #6876

Thanks Paul. Well, when I do one of my famous Ebay "Waves" always 20-50 auctions of the same year, all ending the same night, it gets Caddy owners attention worldwide and the final bids can go ridiculously high. Being the only Burnside Bum with a carlot it's hard to put a number on these under the table. What do you suggest? Do you do Ebay?

These need the retainers. They are now listed on Ebay.
