A friend of mine is detailing the trunk of his car, and was thinking of making an identical reproduction of the cardboard upstand section of the truck lining kit

Must have pressed post by mistake so will do it over
A friend of mine is detailing the trunk of his car, and has been exploring the possibilities of making the cardboard upstand part of the trunk kit.
He has obtained the correct cardboard, computer scanned the original pattern, and obtained a good used one for templates.
He suddenly said, am I wasting my time , is someone already making this.
I know you can buy an already cut cardboard kit, but does it have the pattern on it ?
He was thinkingi of an exact copy, correct pattern and pressed "double folds" as per the originals in all the correct colors.
Are we wasting out time ? and would anybody be interested in a set ?
This would be the cardboard part only.
Thanks Richard

We make the correct trunk fabric in all 5 colors. All my customer all over the world us the fabric over the cardboard. It looks more exlusive in the trunk than orginal.        Johan Hellsten    Clc 13025 :)

The trunk lining Jenkins was selling for the 1959 was supplied by johan. Johan is still producing it and selling. But Jenkins is no longer a distributor. If you are interested in purchasing fabric, his e-mail is johan@1959eldorado.com and his material is excellent. Thanks, Brian.
