Scale Model of 2009 Presidential Limousine
« on: December 26, 2009, 10:55:26 AM »
FYI:  A vehicle discussed here greatly in other posts is President Obama's new Limousine by Cadillac. I noticed this listed on e-bay (but have no affiliation with it or seller.) It looks as if it is an accurate replica:

That seems like a lot of $ for a 1:43 scale. The model is only about 5" long. Herb #21704

I'll bet that if they still made them, he would have had them get him an "Imperial" limousine!

I'm guessing that the 1:43 scale cars are more expensive because they are in lower production numbers.

Personally I'd rather have the larger 1:18 scale version in mass production for $20-$30.

Much like the real thing, that car needs whitewall tires.  :P

Not only is it limited production, it's resin.  I would not be surprised to see Yat Ming come out with one in 1/24th

I saw some die-cast for $99.99 now this 1 guy has them on sale for $39.99, some are listed as a 3 day sale, I just bought 1 today, then I see he has 1 30 day listing with 29 days left, I have no affiliation with seller.

I no Obama fan but I have all the other Presidential Limo's in my collection, maybe the next President will use same car.

That is a bit out of my price range, however I have seen some 1/43 stuff got for  much more than this and it's worth it.

I have a bunch of the Yat Ming Limos, and they are well worth the cash. Really nice stuff.
