my reponses to threads sometimes don't post.
« on: July 13, 2010, 04:59:10 PM »

I just tried to put my suggestions on for the "Tecnical/Authenticity" thread of splining door handles. Neither attempt posted and I lost my answwers to his question. Where do they go?

I contribute quite often and usually don't have any trouble, but this has happened before. No big deal but I am a slow typist, so it does take me quite a while and is a bit discouraging. Am I doing something wrong? Are two post hitting the site at the same time and one gets lost?  Any ideas?  Thanks;  Jim Stamper

G'day Jim,

Not sure what could be going on there.

A couple of times I have had that happen to me, but it was usually down to something like losing an internet connection at the time I hit the "Send" button, or hit the wrong key.

I am a one-fingered typist and the number of times I have chastised that fiinger, it is a wonder it still wants to hit the keys.

Thanks Bruce. At least it's not just me. My wife says it is. I do the "hunt and peck" too. I suppose we will just hope most posts work out.
