Dominique,
From a visual style decision, both are identica;, so if you are looking for an example of the pre fin Sedanette, there is no difference. As noted, the 46 is rarer but in the context of whether that effects a decision - it's irrelvent.
For example, if a 46 and 47, identical - were being sold and the 46 owner wanted $2000 more because of rarity - I would say get the 47. It will deliver the same old car owning experience.
As a Buick owner, I am a bit envious of this "sameness" for Cadillac 46-47. The 46 Buick Roadmaster 2 door Sedanette has a nice flush bar grille which I prefer. The 47-48 Buick's had bulging pop art bar grilles which I can't get excited about. I am kind of stuck looking for a 46 Buick, whereas the 46-47 Cadillac can be purchased in either year.
Given the relatively low numbers of the 46-47 Cadillac 61/62 Sedanettes, it's a good thing there weren't a lot of differences.
