Does anyone know where I can find all of the differences between the series 50 and series 52 models of the 1940 La Salle convertible coupes?

The authenticity manual might help.

You are probably asking because of the two on ebay....little comparative analysis?  Series 52 is the torpedo body....much sleeker....pretty rare as well.  More streamlined appearance.  That's the biggest difference (in my opinion).

Larenc:

The 1940 LaSalle 50 series and 52 series are different cars. Mechanically they are the same for the most part, but other than hubcaps and some trim items they are totally different. As Forest said, the Authenticity manual will give you a good idea and if you are really curious, look through the Master Parts Book.
