1984 Coupe deVille
« on: February 16, 2010, 10:15:06 AM »
This is one of those "semi-barn finds" you hear about.  It was my mother's car, and she drove it just about 100,000 miles before she passed away 10 years ago.  My dad didn't seem to want to sell it although in the next 10 years he drove it very few miles.  It is white with a blue top and blue leather interior, with of course, all the options.  Pop quit driving about 3 years ago and just passed away in December. The car is in West Los Angeles, CA and probably hasn't run in those last three years, although when I last rode in it (8 years ago) it seemed close to new.
I have too many cars now, and we need to clear it out to close up the estate.
Asking $4,500.00 or the best offer we get in the next 3 weeks or it will get "donated". Contact me and I will make arrangements for someone to be there to show it. (I am in San Antonio Texas)

Sorry folks,
The trustees of the estate got in a hurry and the car has gone to become tin cans.

Greg,

Should have sold it to a newbie Cadillac collector for $1000.00 or something like that.  $4500 was a bit strong IMHO.

I hate to see any of these get crushed.  Most of the vehicle donation programs are scams, at least around here.  They end up on used car lots and auctions and only a small percentage actually goes to charity.

At least it's gone and you don't have to deal with it.

It was a very clean car.  In 1986 one of my kids poked a pencil through the arm pad on the door and  when I was back in LA last weekend the tape I put over the hole was still there and looked new.
