'37 Lasalle vacuum advance

Working on a '37 engine, notice there isn't a vacuum advance on the distributor.  Was this standard or does this engine have the wrong distributor?  If it is the wrong distributor, I would be interested in getting the correct model. Appreciate any replys.

  Vacuum advances were not used in 1937, 1938 and 1939. Your car is right. The distributor part number is 1865719 and fits 1937  Lasalle and 1937  v8 Cadillac.Warren
