LOL room???  I have a "two car garage" which is 14 feet by  20 feet.  Maybe two very small 1980s cars but nothing REAL.  My Caddies all stick out like sore thumbs.  I have an all weather cover for the Eldorado and will get another for the 56 when I get her done and ready for the road.  :)

...your doing it all wrong!

The classic cars should get the garage and the 80s cars sit out!

Get with the program!

LOL!

"SCRATCH ONE FLAT TOP!"
« Reply #31 on: January 27, 2005, 09:56:54 PM »
To all,

I like the sound of that phrase, "SCRATCH ONE FLAT TOP!"

Can anyone tell me when that phrase was first used???

Anyway, my 95 Supercharged Riviera sold this afternoon and I took delivery on my new acquisition, a 94 Fleetwood Brougham!

David

To all,

List the cars you currently own. Put that in the subject line.

All cars, not just your Cadillacs. It will be interesting to see what cars everyone owns.

And info about them, restored, original, daily driver, for sale, restoration project, parts car, etc.

96 Cadillac Concours - wifes daily driver
95 Buick Supercharged Riviera - daily driver - for sale
71 Buick Electra 225 Custom 2DHT - original - for sale
67 Buick Wildcat Custom 4DHT - anti-drunk driving display
56 Chrysler Windsor 4D Sedan - for sale

And hopefully soon I will be buying a 94 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham!

Thats my name...dont wear it out or you will owe me a new one.  :)

David!!! Bite your tongue!! :D

The only 1980s vehicle I have is the Chevy pickup.  No the garage is a staging area for work and storage.  Its useless for anything except my Dads VW.
Well that is not completely true.  I can, with dollies, back the 47 in at an angle, and then by hand swing the front end in.  If I do it just right, I can wedge it in the garage so the door closes but I cannot get to the inside door without climbing through the car.  And, of course, there are no quick trips to the store.
My HOA is adament that I cannot build the garage out to the end of the porch which would help so I use the car covers.  Short of buying or renting an off site garage, I am stuck.

Hank, those are really nice cars.  Thank you for the photos!   I love the 53.  It looks like my 56, except of course it is a sedan <G> and yours is a coupe.
Mine is cavern grey on top and tahoe blue on the bottom.  What are your colors?
Love the 67 sedan.  It is really in beautiful shape.  And the Olds is beautiful too.

1963 Sedan de Ville Six-Window 6329. My grandmother bought it brand new, it has 55,000 miles on it and is an original car, including paint that still shines 42 years later. Small picture of it on page 4, April 2004 issue of The Self-Starter.

1988 Sedan de Ville. Expensive as heck to maintain but its quick with its 4.5L engine. Great highway vehicle for long trips. 134,000-plus miles; looking to trade up in the next year.

1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x2 pickup. Wife drives it all the time and loves it.
