Brakes not right yet!! on 91 brougham

Spoke too soon, after the new booster the brakes still require way too much pedal pressure. All vac. lines to the booster are clear. In speaking W/ the Tech. at Cardone he said if the vac. supply was clear it cound be a bad booster.  Is there any thing could be amiss in the combination valve preventing fluid from going to the front or the rear brakes?  Any ideas?  I never had a problem like this before!!

Viator,

If it feels like you really need to use two feet on the brake pedal to stop, your booster has to be bad.  More than likely, the diaphram in it is torn or not attached on an edge.

Same symtoms as when the booster went bad on the 65 New Yorker I had, its 413-4 Wedge motor was a great engine.
