Dear Jeff, A couple of things. First of all, the small print on the purple is very hard to read. Also, it is hard to tell whether or not there are further replies to a subject. Some are open, large, and easy to read, and others are put in the purple box in small print. ??? I miss being able to "see" all the replies to a post. Generally, it looks good. Maybe part of my problem is getting used to the changes. Also, I wasn't able to put my # on my name. Can I still do so? Best regards, Barry.

Barry,

How does a slightly larger font on pink look?  We can work with the background colors.

When you click the 'reply with quote' link to reply to a post, that is what puts the quoted text in a different color background.  Folks just need to get used to typing outside of the quote blocks when replying.

Yes, you can add your member number to appear after your name.  See this page  http://www.cadillaclasalleclub.org/profilehelp.shtml for instructions.  You'll want to add your member number to the 'Name' field as described in the link so it will look like:  Barry Wheeler CLC #xxxxx

Hope this helps,
Jeff

Jeff, I think it looks great!  I love this software... it is very easy to use.

I would like to see the Cadillac and LaSalle Club of America insignia but I am not sure where it would fit, since my user info and avatar are up where it would normally be.  Perhaps just right of the user info next to the news box?

Keep up the good work!

Hello Jeff and Barry:
How about switching the User Info to the right. Place the Logo on the left at the top. News Box just below the Logo.

Jeff, I'm finding the New Forum system to be outstanding! Great job. Thank you.

Hello Jeff and Barry:
Looks like I'm slow to see the new changes. How about moving the User Info and News Box to the right now and put the logo first on the left.

Hello again Jeff and Barry:

Please ignore my comments regarding the use of the Logo. You should just do as you think best for I have confused the issue. Seems that at one point User Information column was much longer than the  News Box so that was why I suggested reversing them so that the Logo could be placed above the News column. Later, perhaps on a different page, I noticed that both columns were about the same length so that is why I agreed with Barry to place the Logo in the center; or at the left of the two.

Regardless, the Logo in my opinion is a work of art showing all of the engines used in history and I think it should be shown at the top of each topic page.

Well, I will wait to see what results. It is difficult to sometimes do things by committee or by vote so that is what an editor is for. So keep on doing an outstanding job with the forum.

Thank you.
