2009 National Driving Tour
The 2009 Driving Tour will be held August 11 - 16 in the Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia area. The Tour will be hosted by the Potomac Region and the host hotel will be the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott Hotel.
Rooms are filling up fast so make your hotel reservations now at the special club rate of $99 per night! The cut-off date for this special rate has been extended to Friday, July 10.

A Hot Time in Las Vegas
353 Cadillac & LaSalle Club members from 36 states and eight countries, their families, and guests converged on the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to attend the 2009 Grand National Meet from June 17th through the 20th. 158 cars preregistered for the event and approximately 130 attended the CLC's first ever indoor judged meet.
A huge round of applause is due our hosts, the Las Vegas Region, for hosting this wonderful event and making it look easy! Every detail was attended to from the Red Rock Canyon Driving Tour through the awards banquet on Saturday night. Complete coverage of the GN will be in the August issue of The Self-Starter.

Region Web Site Spotlight - New England Region
Regions and chapters of the Cadillac and LaSalle Club are where most of the action happens. If you are a CLC member in the United States and not a member of a region or chapter of the club, you are missing out on local activities in your area with like minded individuals that are more fun than you can imagine!

New Edition of Class 13 Authenticity Manual Available
An updated Authenticity Manual is available from the CLC's Director of Technical Services for judging class 13. The second edition of the Class 13 manual covers all 1948 and 1949 Cadillacs with the exception of the 75 series cars and commmercial chassis.
